How do I get an API key?
  1. Open Google Cloud, create or select a project and enable YouTube Data API v3.
  2. Under APIs & Services → Credentials create an API key. Set the Websites / HTTP referrers restriction to and the API restriction to YouTube Data API v3. Paste the key above.
Optional: Google OAuth setup
  1. To connect your account, configure Google Auth Platform: the app name and contact email. For private testing, choose the audience External, the mode Testing and add your account as a test user.
  2. Under Data Access add the scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly.
  3. Create an OAuth client of type Web application. Under Authorized JavaScript origins enter . This sign-in method needs no redirect URI or Client Secret.
  4. Paste Client ID above, apply the settings and click Connect to YouTube in the “My playlists” tab.
